WIRED-UP MOTORSPORTS is the EXCLUSIVE MidWest dealer for M&M Racecars...

I grew up in Austintown Ohio and have been around racing most of my life. Our neighborhood was filled with circle
track racers and we would go over and give a hand doing anything we could do to help. As time went on my brother got a job cleaning airplanes at the Executive airport located at the Meander reservoir. The airport would close the runway on the weekend and open it up to the drag racers. One time there and I was hooked on the shear excitement and sound of those cars.

The fascination continued into my teenage years when street racing and cruising on Friday and Saturday
night was the cool thing to do. After that phase of my life I joined the Navy and decided to become an Electrician.
After 5 years of being stationed in Yokosuka Japan onboard the USS Midway, I was fortunate enough to get stationed
at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. I got a part time job at a do it yourself style repair garage on base. My job was to
hand out tools and keep the place cleaned up. I started helping guys with their racecars and before I new it, I was
the guy that everybody came to if they had an electrical problem. That's how I started wiring cars. I decided to use
this skill to make some extra money and buy a racecar. I started with a street stock and within 2 months I moved
up to the street modified class. Before I new it I was asked to drive a modified sprint car and had a blast doing it.
As the circle track closed for the night, the drag race track was just getting underway and I would go over and just
hang by the fence. I could just feel the adrenaline rush from watching those cars scream down the quarter mile.

My next stop was Great Lake Illinois. Driving around Wisconsin one day I found a track called Great Lakes Dragway. I decided to stop in and check it out. There was that all familiar sound of the cars going down the track. Once again
I was hooked. I went out and purchased my buddy Kenny's 70 Nova and started playing around with it on Friday nights.

I wanted to try a shot at the points so I purchased a 67 Camaro and entered into my first year of real racing. I enjoyed
it tremendously but like most I wanted to go faster. I traded it for a 225" Spitzer and put a 540 Shafiroff in it with
a Terminator. Needless to say it was just what I needed. I started running Top Dragster in division 5 and made a lot of
good friends and did quite well. Unfortunately my life changed and I ended up selling everything for pennies on the
dollar. When the last part was gone it hit me like a balloon that lost all of its air. After a 4 year layoff the
opportunity for me to get back into racing came about with help from a Special lady named Juanita and a very special
friend named James Monroe ( J-Mo) as we call him. I decided to open up a company and we named it WiredUp Motorsports.

My love of racing fast dragsters brought me to becoming a dealer for M&M racecars out of Gleason Tennessee.
I have had a lot of good fortune through life and a lot of good people have helped me along the way. I feel very
blessed to be where I am today. I'll see you at the races...
